Pricing, payment and money
When pricing your preloved items, think about how worn they are, how they were produced, and their branding. Consider if you want the highest possible price or to move as much as possible, and where you can price to find a happy medium.
Make sure you consider what you would be happy to pay for it, or what you would sell it to your best mate for. We recommend popping pricing tags on items when you can, and being open to negotiating the price of preloved goods. If you are open to offers, let shoppers know with a sign or by having a chat while they browse.
A Plus is primarily a cash-based market, so remember to bring a float (some cash to start you off) to help shoppers break their big notes. There is no on-site ATM at most of our venues, including Coburg Town Hall.
Hot tip: Some stallholders like to offer card payment as an option. This could be via Pay ID, bank transfer, or using a contraption like a Square reader - it's all up to you!
