📖 About the Book
Emma Edwards underwent an experiment to go one whole year without buying clothes, to investigate why we buy, and what might lie on the other side of our habits of consumption.
What began as a money-saving challenge and a personal experiment turned into so much more. The Wardrobe Project is a life-changing journey of being your own inspiration, cutting off the noise of “more,” and making peace with your body by coming home to who you are.
This is a book about consumption, identity, self-worth and learning to like yourself — right now.
🎤 About the Author
Emma Edwards
Emma Edwards is a writer, content creator, podcaster and financial behaviour educator teaching the softer skills of money — the emotional, psychological and identity-based layers that shape how we spend, save and see ourselves.
Best known online as @the.brokegeneration, Emma explores the intersection of money, consumption, self-worth and culture with honesty and humour.
When she isn’t yapping about money, you’ll find her eating blue cheese, snuggling with her cat, or reading Australian noir.
💬 Join the Pre-Event Book Club Chat
We’ll be creating a private Instagram group chat in the lead-up to the event to share reflections, favourite quotes and gentle discussion prompts.
When booking, please include your Instagram handle if you’d like to be added.
(Completely optional — lurkers welcome.)
