Big Thick Energy x A Plus Market for Midsumma
FAQ’s and T’s & C’s
What are the need-to-knows about my stall space?
Stalls will be set up both outside and inside the Malthouse. There will be 10 stalls set up around the perimeter of the Malthouse Outdoor Stage, and seven stalls inside the foyer of the event space.
Two chairs are provided per stall. Depending on rack size, there will likely be enough room for 2-3 racks and one small table in outdoor stalls. All stalls will receive two chairs.
Can I hire equipment for this event?
You sure can! Just like our usual markets, we’ll be working with a fabulous hire company to provide you with racks, mirrors, and hangers. You can reserve a free trestle table when you lock in your stall - these measure 1.8m long and 75 cm wide.
You are also welcome to BYO racks, coathangers, tables, signage and decorations for your stall. If you are hosting a stall outside, make sure you take this and the weather into consideration when bringing along signs or decorations.
Is the event inside or outside?
This is primarily an outdoor event. While some stalls will be situated inside the foyer of the Malthouse Theatre, the majority will be outside in the fabulous but everchanging Melbourne weather. For those hosting a stall outside, we will be providing a 3m x 3m marquee for you with roll-down sides - so you can keep it open or shut the sides if you need to.
We suggest making sure you bring along sunscreen and hats, as well as clothing for any possible weather outcome! We’ve got our fingers crossed for beautiful summer evenings, but we will be working with Big Thick Energy as well as the Malthouse if any tricky weather situations pop up.
Do I need public liability insurance?
For this event, stallholders are covered by the public liability insurance of the event host, The Malthouse.
